A yoga story of Kaur's

"Bonjour" "Namaste" "Sat Sri Akal"

I am raised by warriors that have served in the Indian army.
My mom (Punjabi), as a medical officer at the military hospital, and my dad was part of the LOC border services team. My dad (Sikh) died in the line of duty when I was six months old. My mother committed to displacing various parts of the Indian area by serving the army and raising a decent child pretty (me) alone.

She brought me to the World of Yoga when I was 5 years old. And Born in a Sikh family is like blessed with Bhakti yoga- Chanting and meditating, Karma yoga- selfless service at Gurudwara (Sikh Temple) and Dharma yoga- Share what I have.

Like my mother, I wanted to be empowered, confident and passionate. The only thing I ever dreamed about was making my mother proud. I didn't follow the path of military service, but I followed a completely different professional life. Now, it's been more than 10 years I have worked in various glamorous sectors-Media, Perfume, Retail and lived in many other countries- Luxembourg, UK, India and France.

These adventuring journey raised one question- What is really satisfying me?.

I never thought I would become a yoga teacher until 2015; I took a year off and travelled to India to practice yoga by signing a monthlong program (I went for a month but stayed for 3 months). Upon returning to Europe, I travelled across Cambodia to visit my friends. Right there, I had my first yoga session with a bunch of magical kids from the NGO. That experience was a tremendous satisfaction. Then and there, I got the answer to my question- What is really satisfying me?. Is, serving my yoga practice with others.

Here I am sharing my yoga experience with you, and I hope you do the same to others who are next to you.

Yoga is an ancient art that teaches us to be present at and in the moment.
